Emanuele Tresca (b. 2000) is a young photographer from Caserta, Italy. He studies screenwriting at the Civica Scuola di Cinema in Milan and dreams of accompanying his work as a photographer to that of film director. An activist in his hometown youth policies since the age of 16, and now part of the Fridays for Future movement against environmental devastation, he firmly believes in the idea that art can fuel change in society. His photography is done on the streets and in nature, trying to capture the complicated relationship that man has established with the world around him through the study of the architecture and objects he created. He prefers neither color nor black and white photography, but lets the photographed atmosphere suggest the right connotation of light and shadow.
