Alone But Not Lonely
Alone But Not Lonely is a photos series exploring the thoughts and feelings felt and portrayed through the banal moments of the everyday during lockdown in 2020. Reflections of the times spent staring into thin air, at walls and random objects, lost in no particular thought, accompanied by the sound of life without people – a mishmash of nature and the ticking of time.
Talking to Strangers
Developed from the basic need to be close to humans at a time of forced isolation during lockdown in 2020 and wanting to dissolve her fears and the fears of others that were felt from COVID-19 by approaching strangers she encountered on her daily walk in Hackney in London. Whilst a picture can tell a thousand words, the conversations were an essential part in the making of these images, forming trust and allowing people to share their feelings and experiences during lockdown, revealing hidden layers and stories of love, survival and faith.
